The selection Committee DME TamilNadu Conducts Counselling for MBBS Colleges of Tamil Nadu. The admission for MBBS/BDS shall be made on the basis of NEET UG 2021. The selection and admission criteria to MBBS/BDS seats in any Recognised and affiliated Medical Institutions are subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in the merit list, and other such criteria. The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS admission at Haryana will have to register themselves through the Combined centralized counseling Deptt. of Medical Education & Research (DMER) Haryana by filling out their application form. Haryana, MBBS/BDS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form for Haryana MBBS / BDS admission. DMER Haryana counseling is conducted in Three rounds (Round 1(online), Round 2(Physical Counseling), and Mop-up Round(Physical Counseling)). The fourth round is the College Round, if the number of vacant seats is x, then a 10x list of registered candidates will be sent to the college and is to be exhausted strictly in order of merit.
Management Seat For management category, candidates from All over India shall be eligible, irrespective of their State of domicile and place of study.
The selection committee DME (Directorate of Medical Education) will conduct Counselling for Tamil Nadu MBBS/BDS NEET 2021. The admission for MBBS/BDS shall be made on the basis of NEET UG 2021. The candidates should pay a non-refundable amount of Rs.500/- (or) by means of Demand Draft payable at Chennai on the scheduled date of counselling.
The candidates can download the call letter from the official Website, take a printout of the call letter and report in person with all the required certificates to the venue as per the schedule.
The candidates who have been selected in the first round of counselling after certificate verification should receive the provisional allotment Letter, and join the college before the date mentioned in the allotment letter.
The candidates who have been allotted seats and failed to join the college within the given time are not eligible to attend the subsequent rounds of counselling for the year 2021-22. (This shall be applicable for all phases of counselling).
The candidates who have failed to report in person for the first round of counselling are assumed to have been opted out from the counselling process and that individual will not be allowed to take part in the subsequent rounds of counselling for the year 2021-22
Second round of Counselling
When a candidate is scheduled to attend the second round of counselling, then the candidate has to pay the processing fee of Rs.500/-. (The candidates who are waitlisted/allotted need not pay the processing fee.)
Re-allotment/allotment for the vacancies arising due to not joining of the candidates allotted under State Quota and the unfilled seats from the All India Quota in Government Medical Colleges and newly created seats, if any will be done on the basis of the rank following the rule of reservation.
During the second round of counselling, candidates will be permitted to opt the course/college as per rank and by following the rule of reservation from rank one.
The candidates who have failed to appear in person for the second round of counselling are assumed to have been opted out from the processes of counselling and that individual will not be allowed to take part in the subsequent rounds of counselling for the year 2021-22. The candidates can download the call letter and attend the counselling.
The candidates who have been selected in the second round of counselling after certificate verification should receive the provisional allotment letter. The candidates should join the college on or before the date mentioned in the provisional allotmentvletter.
If a candidate fails to join the College within the given time, he/she will not be permitted to participate in the further rounds of counselling.
Mop-Up round of Counselling
Finally, the Mop-up counselling will be done. The candidates will be permitted to opt for the college as per rank by following rule of reservation from rank one subject to the availability of sufficient time before the cut-off date as prescribed by the National Medical Commission (erstwhile Medical Council of India / Dental Council of India.
The candidates who have joined/waitlisted from the first and second rounds of counselling and as per the mop-up counselling schedule are eligible to participate in the mop-up counselling.
The candidates who have selected seats in the mop-up counselling and have received their provisional allotment letter should report in person before the respective Medical / Dental College on or before the given date and time mentioned in their provisional allotment letter.
If he/she fails to join in the specified time and date in the respective college, it will be considered as discontinued and the candidate should pay the penalty as per Clause18 (a).
If it is found that a candidate has been involved in impersonation/suppression or misrepresentation of facts and production of falsified / bogus certificates by the candidates, his/her provisional allotment order will be cancelled and legal proceedings/criminal action will be initiated.

A candidate should obtain a minimum of marks at 50th percentile in National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test to MBBS/BDS to become eligible for admission to MBBS / BDS Courses for the academic year. However, for candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, Other Backward Classes, the minimum marks shall be at 40th percentile. In respect of candidates with BenchMark Disabilities specified under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, the minimum marks shall be at 45th percentile for the unreserved category candidates and 40th percentile for SC/SCA/ST / OBC candidates.
The minimum age of the candidate applying must be 17 years as on December 31, 2021.
The candidates belonging to other states who have qualified their class 6 to class 12 from the Tamil Nadu state will be eligible for admission under the open category.
Aspirants must have completed their class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology and, English as the compulsory subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (45% for PwD candidates and 40% for SC/ST/OBC candidates).
The candidate should be a citizen of India
Overseas Citizens of India(OCI) are allowed but there is no reservation for them. They can apply ion open Category.
Candidates who have studied Class 6 to 12 from schools situated in Tamil Nadu or partly or completely from other states will be required to submit their parent’s birth certificate, ration card, and class 10 or 12 certificates as proof of domicile
Candidates who do not belong to the Tamil Nadu domicile but have completed Class 6 to 12 from the state can apply for Tamil Nadu NEET 2021 admission under the open category.

66% of the MBBS/BDS seats will be filled by respective religious/linguistic minority candidates (MK, MA, ME, MU, MC, MM seats) of 55% of seats reserved as private quota seats. 34% of seats are reserved for candidates of Karnataka Candidates (GMP seats) medical & dental Private Minority (Religious & Linguistic) colleges.
Counselling for selection of MBBS students to Private and Minority Medical and Dental Colleges,St John’s Medical College for the academic year 2021-2022 will, as directed by MCI, be conducted by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA). Government vides letter No. MED 173 RGU 2021 dated 09-12-2021 has directed KEA to commence the process of inviting applications online and conduct document verification for admission to UG Medical and Dental courses for the year 2021-22 in the State of Karnataka The interested eligible candidates can register online & enter the details online from 2.00 pm on 13-12-2021 to 17-12-2021 up to 11.59 pm by selecting the appropriate link in the KEA Website. The last date to pay the registration fees is 18-12-2021 before 5.30 pm. Registration fee, schedule for verification of documents, original documents to be produced for verification and other details will be hosted on the KEA Website. Interested eligible candidates can register and apply online and appear for document verification as per the schedule
ENTRY OF UGNEET-2021 ROLL NUMBER BY KARNATAKA CANDIDATES WHO HAVE ALREADY VERIFIED THEIR DOCUMENTS
The candidates who have already registered for CET-2021 and completed the document verification, have to enter their correct UGNEET-2021 Roll Number from 2.00 pm on 13-12-2021 to 17-12-2021 up to 11.59 pm through the online link enabled in KEA Web-portal to become eligible for admission to Medical, Dental, and AYUSH courses. However, such candidates need not pay the registration fee once again. Further, they should check the NEET Roll number printed on the Application Form after entering the UGNEET —2021 Roll Number.
Candidates, who have assigned ranks in CET-2021 and completed their document verification as per CET-2006 Admission Rules, and those who are not claiming any additional reservation need not appear for verification of documents once again for Medical / Dental / AYUSH courses. But they have to download the UGNEET-2021 Verification slip from KEA portal on the specified dates to become eligible for admission to Medical / Dental /AYUSH courses
However, if any such candidate is eligible to claim reservation as per Government of Karnataka norms or under Linguistic Minority / Religious Minority / NRI WARD or candidates eligible to claim seats under Category-2 to Category-8 in St. John Medical College, Bangalore, they have to claim such reservations in the online application form and they have to appear for document verification with all the relevant original certificates / documents
INSTRUCTIONS TO NON-KARNATAKA CANDIDATES
Non-Karnataka candidates who have qualified in UGNEET 2021, have to first register online in KEA Web-portal, enter all the details, and pay the registration fee. Further, they have to enter the 12th standard marks details and upload them in PDF format in the same web portal. They need not appear for the verification of documents.
However, OCI / PIO / NRI / Foreign Nationals and if any non-Karnataka candidates eligible to claim NRI Ward, Religious Minority or eligible to claim under category-2 to category-8 in St. John Medical College, Bangalore, then they have to appear for verification of documents at KEA, Bangalore on the specified dates.

ELIGIBILITY for NRI seats (N)
All candidates should fulfill the academic eligibility criteria as prescribed in Chapter 4 and have qualified in the UG NEET 2020 (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test).
i. All NRI / NRI Wards / PIO / OCI candidates and Foreign Nationals. ii. Children of Non-resident Indian or their Wards. (As per Hon’ble High Court in WP Nos.17999-18002/2017) iii. As per the definition defined in The Karnataka Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Determination of Fee) Act, 2006 read with the Karnataka Professional Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission and Determination of Fee) (Amendment) Act, 2017 and the Income Tax Act 1961 Section 115 C (e) & 6, i.e., “Non-Resident Indian” means an individual resident outside India who is a citizen of India or is a Person of Indian Origin and includes Persons of Indian Origin and Overseas Citizens of India.
Original Documents required for NRI Seats: a. The final print out of the Online Registration Form. b. Original Copy of the Challan for having paid the fees. c. ‘UG NEET 2020’ Admission Ticket and UGNEET-2020 Score Card d. Any valid Identity Card (Driving License / Voter ID / Passport / PAN / Aadhar Card) e. SSLC / 10th Standard Marks Card f. 2nd PUC / 12th Standard Marks Card g. 2nd PU /12th standard Study Certificate issued by concerned college with seal signature of Principal h. TWO recent passport size photographs i. Candidate's parents resident certificate issued by the Embassy of that country complying with the Income Tax Rules / any other certificates to establish evidence that they are resident of that country / affidavit on Rs.100/- e-stamp paper to that effect. j. Candidate's passport / VISA / Resident VISA. k. Citizenship of the candidate. l. Income Tax Documents required as per the Income Tax Act 1961. m. Candidate's study certificate for having studied outside India where applicable for the qualifying examination. n. Along with Ward Certificate Annexed.

As per the report in TOI, across the country, Nine states recorded 60% and above qualification with Delhi registering the highest at 76.61%, followed by Chandigarh at 75.04%. States with over one lakh candidates and over 50%? qualification include Karnataka 57.64%, Kerala 58.85%, Rajasthan 66.17%, Tamil Nadu 54.4% and Uttar Pradesh 53.81%. There are 13 Boards with over 50% qualification. The boards which showed significant improvement in Neet UG this year are Goa, Gujarat and Maharashtra as well as the North-east region except Manipur.
The Rajasthan Board leads in the respective share of top one lakh qualified candidates with 19.77%, followed by Odisha 14.88% and CBSE 14.54%. States wise Rajasthan and up have the highest number of candidates in the rank cohort of 1 – 1 lakh which include Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh and Bengal.
Karnataka Common Entrance Test generally known as KCET and is controlled by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority). KCET is conducted only for the students who are from Karnataka. If you are a student from another state and want to take admission in Karnataka private colleges you can attend the COMEDK exam. KCET is a state-level examination and it is conducted for the purpose of providing admission for the eligible candidates to Different Professional Undergraduate courses like engineering, Pharmacy (B.Pharma, D.Pharma), Agriculture, and Veterinary Courses. Students who passed class 12th or PUC can attend the KCET exam. Students who desire to take admission in the Medical or dental fields must attend and qualify NEET exam.
Application form filling was online mode and Examination was conducted through offline mode i.e., Pen and Paper-based. It is conducted on the basis of Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, and Physics. The syllabus for KCET is based on higher secondary portions. The Questions are objective / MCQ’s (Multiple Choice Questions) and carry one mark each.
Note:Education Minister Dr C N Ashwath Narayan announced that there will be no cutoff marks for Engineering Courses. All the candidates who have passed can take admission in colleges
