ಭೌತಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ (Physics) ಮತ್ತು ಗಣಿತ (Mathematics) ಕಡ್ಡಾಯ ವಿಷಯಗಳಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

ರಸಾಯನಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ (Chemistry), ಜೈವಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ (Biotechnology), ಜೀವಶಾಸ್ತ್ರ (Biology), ಕಂಪ್ಯೂಟರ್ ಸೈನ್ಸ್ (Computer Science) ಅಥವಾ ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್ (Electronics) ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನು ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿರಬೇಕು.

ಕೌನ್ಸೆಲಿಂಗ್‌ಗೆ ಮುನ್ನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೀಸಲಾತಿ ಸಂಬಂಧಿತ ದಾಖಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಸರಿಯಾದ ದಾಖಲೆ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ಸೀಟು ಹಂಚಿಕೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
