KEA Will Hold All Round Of B.Sc Nursing Counseling In Karnataka – KEA Authority

For admission to B.Sc. (Nursing) courses in 2024, candidates are required to follow certain guidelines and eligibility criteria as per the Government order No. MED 51 RGU 2023 dated 13-04-2023. Here’s a summary of the key points:

  1. Registration and Application:
    • Candidates interested in B.Sc. (Nursing) courses must register for CET-2024.
    • Application details should be submitted online through the KEA (Karnataka Examinations Authority) portal.
  2. Common Entrance Test (CET):
    • Candidates are required to appear for the Common Entrance Test for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (PCB) subjects conducted by KEA.
  3. Eligibility Criteria:
    • Applicants should have passed Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and English papers individually.
    • A minimum aggregate of 45% marks in PCB papers at the II PUC or 12th Standard (10+2) is required for general candidates.
    • SC/ST or other backward class candidates should obtain a minimum of 40% marks in PCB papers together in the qualifying examination.
    • The SC/ST/OBC eligibility criteria are applicable to Karnataka SC/ST/OBC candidates only.
  4. Reservation:
    • Non-Karnataka candidates will not be eligible for reservation.
    • Non-Karnataka candidates will also not be eligible for the Government share of seats in the B.Sc. (Nursing) course through KEA..
  5. Application Deadline: The last date for application submission is 10th February 2024.

****NEET UG Examination: It is advisable for students looking for admission in B.Sc. (Nursing) management quota in Karnataka to appear in the NEET UG examination. NOTE-The eligibility percentile in NEET UG may not be a requirement for B.Sc. (Nursing) admission.

KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES (KNRUHS) in its notification released on the 10th of April said that TSEAMCET and NEET UG 2023 are Mandatory for the students for admission in BSc Nursing.

KNRUHS has made it compulsory to appear in TSEAMCET 2023 and NEET-UG 2023 for Candidates who are aspiring to take admission to the 4 years course BSc Nursing in Government and Private Colleges for the academic year 2023-24 in Telangana affiliated to KALOJI NARAYANA RAO UNIVERSITY OF HEALTH SCIENCES.

The Government of Telangana issued an order with regard to the Modification of the eligibility criteria. Earlier BSc Nursing seats allocation of the candidates was based on the marks obtained by them and now it will be replaced by ranks secured by the candidates in the Competitive Exams.

” Admission into Competent Authority Quota seats of BSc Nursing 4YDC course shall be based on Telangana state EAMCET 2023 Rank and INC Regulations.

Admission into Management Quota seats of BSc Nursing 4YDC course shall be based on NEET-UG 2023 Rank and INC Regulations.” stated the notification of KNRUHS.
