Viswabharathi Medical College was established in 2014 with an intake of 150 MBBS seats located at Kurnool town Andhra Pradesh. It’s a  judicial capital of Andhra Pradesh.  It formerly served as the capital of Andhra State before being shifted to Hyderabad later on. College is 20 km from Kurnool Bus station and 22 km from railway station. 50 km from Airport. VMC is recognized by Govt of India and National Medical Commission (NMC) affiliated to Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences, Vijayawada. Viswabharathi Medical College is strategically located in socially backward, poverty stricken and with low literacy rate Rayalaseema region, so it was very appropriate to establish a medical institute with the like of Viswabharathi medical College to help the underprivileged and poor with the health care facilities provided.

Viswabharathi Medical College with 150 MBBS and 51 Postgraduate seats training medical students. VMC has Four Lecture Halls with air conditioning,  gallery type.  Three with seating capacity for 180 students each & one with 350 students.
