As Per the latest circular by KNRUHS dated 29.04.2021 The Post Graduate Medical, Super Specialty, and Dental examinations scheduled to be held from 5th May and 18th May 2021 are postponed in view of the COVID-19 pandemic until further orders.
In accordance with the Advisory of National Medical Commission dated 27-04-2021 all the Post Graduate students are directed to report at their respective institutions for resuming duties.
The Deemed university is an institution that has achieved the status of a University through recognition by the University Grants Commission (UGC) under Section 3 of the UGC Act of 1956. There are 39 Deemed Medical Universities offering MBBS & PG courses in India. Most of the Deemed Medical Universities are located in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu & Maharashtra .
All the seats ( 85% Management and 15% NRI Seats) of MBBS in Deemed Universities are filled on the basis of counselling conducted by Directorate General of Health Sciences (DGHS) on behalf of Medical Counselling Committee (MCC).
Admission Procedure-There are 4 Rounds of counselling i.e. Round 1, Round 2 for AIQ, Mop-UpRound & Stray VacancyRound. Out of the four rounds, three rounds are conducted online by MCC i.e. Round 1, Round 2 and Mop-Up Round. The Stray Vacancy round shall be conducted by the respective Deemed Universities for which the students must be registered and are displayed in the MCC List .
Eligiblity :- All the students who have qualified for All India Quota seats on the basis of their rank in NEET UG conducted by NTA including students from Union Territory of J&K are eligible.

ICCC provides information of NEET-UG counselling in different states of India. NEET-UG Counselling will be conducted for qualified students on the basis of merit. Every state has its own NEET-UG counselling process. Admissions for MBBS in government and private medical colleges will be governed by the respective state NEET-UG counselling process.
NEET-UG counselling process is divided in two categories, i.e., AIQ and State-Level . Qualified students with Merit in the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET- UG ) conducted by National Board of Examinations(NBE) are eligible to apply for counselling.
MCC conducts the Counselling for Undergraduate Medical Courses of 15% All India Quota and all seats of Deemed Universities, Central Universities, Seats of ESIC & AFMC including Delhi University (DU), BHU, AMU, AIIMS & JIPMER.
85% State Quota Seats And 100% Private College and Private Universities will be allotted by the Respective State Counselling Authorities.
The Andhra Pradesh NEET-UG state counselling is Organized by the Dr. NTR University of Health Science, Vijayawada. The University is the brain child of Padmashree Dr. Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao a legendary figure and Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh. It was inaugurated in 1986.
Counselling for MBBS Students (NEET-UG) in Andhra Pradesh will be conducted by Dr. NTR University of Health Sciences (NTRUHS) Vijayawada. Under NTRUHS, Counselling procedure is divided into Convener quota-CQ (Govt.) and Management Quota(MQ1 & MQ2). Domicile(Local) students of Andhra Pradesh Qualified in NEET-UG are eligible to participate in the counselling process, a separate notification will be published.
Students from Across India and Andhra Pradesh are eligible to participate in the Management Quota Seats for which a separate notification is published. For Management Quota NTRUHS conducts Two Rounds of Counselling followed by MOP UP Round. If Required extended MOP UP Round Counselling.
