Deccan college of Medical sciences (DCMS) established in the year 1984 with an in take of 100 MBBS seats located in Historical place of beautiful Hyderabad. It is run by Muslim Minority Trust (Dar-Us-Salam Educational Trust).The founder of the college Late Sultan Salahuddin Owaisi, an India politician belonging to the All India Majlis-e-lttehadul Muslimeen party and active in Telangana. DCMS is recognized by Govt. of India and National Medical Commission(NMC) affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences(KNRUHS) Warangal Telangana. College is situated in the heart of old city famous for its Pearls, Bangles, Spices and Food (Biryani). Deccan College is well connected by Road, Rail and Airport and close to Old City of Hyderabad which is also famous for the Renowned Monuments like Charminar and Golconda Fort.

Deccan Medical College is the India’s first Muslim Minority College and located in Old city of Hyderabad by DET. Started with 100 MBBS seats later enhanced to 150 MBBS seats having 67 PG seats in different departments and 4 super specialty seats in 4 departments. It is the first private medical of Telangana to start training students in super Specialty Departments. Deccan College is promoted by politician and visionary to provide medical aid and help to the poor and needy people residing not only around the Old city of Hyderabad but also catering to a large area around the city of Hyderabad but all over Telangana. Owaisi’s, apopular name in the City of Hyderabad and know for their contribution to welfare of the Minority Community. Owaisi Hospital & Research Centre and Princess ESRA Hospital are both attached as the teaching hospitals to the Deccan College of Medical Sciences. At Deccan College a Research wing is established via; centre for liver diseases and stem cell. Funded by the prestigious research agencies both national and international to carry out advanced research in the field of liver transplantation, Xenotransplantaion, Genetherapy and Molecular characterization of Hepatitis-c-virus. DCMS is well equipped with highly sophisticated equipment to perform all major and minor surgeries and treatment especially in Gastroenterology, Neonatology, Orthopaedics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Paediatrics, Pulmonology, Psychiatry, Dermatology, Ophthalmology, ENT, etc. The laboratories are sufficiently equipped with most accurate and technical sophisticated diagnostic equipment conforming to international standards apart from the provision of M.R.I., C.T. Scan, and Cath lab for Angiography, Mammography, problems of breast in female patients and Dialysis for kidney failure patients. Owaisi school of Nursing is attached to Deccan Medical College students providing trained Nurses who are trained with advanced methods in Nursing skills required for a professional approach required in patient care of high standards with committed and dedicated approach adding to standards in services of the Hospital. ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Deccan Medial College Counselling for MBBS (NEET-UG) and Postgraduate Courses (NEET-PG) in Telangana will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal. Under KNRUHS, the Counselling procedure is divided into Convener quota-CQ (Govt.) and Management Quota(MQ1 & MQ2). Domicile(Local) students of Telangana Qualified in NEET-UG and NEET-PG are eligible to participate in the counselling process for which a separate notification is published. For Convener Quota in Telangana, KNRUHS conducts 3 or 4 rounds of counselling followed by Mop Up round. If required, Extended Mop-Up Round Counselling will be done.
Students from all India and Telangana are eligible to participate in the Management Quota Seats for which a separate notification is published. For Management Quota KNRUHS conducts Two Rounds of Counselling followed by Mop Up Round. If required, an Extended Mop Up Round Counselling follows.
