Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences(SIMS) established in 2005 with an annual intake of 150 Students and subsequently upgraded to a Post Graduate Institute offering Degree Programs, Recognized by the Govt. of India and National Medical Commission(NMC) affiliated to Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal. SIMS has situated at Himayatsagar Road 20 km from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport approximately 25 Mins Drive-by ORR and 16 Kms from Hyderabad Railway Station and the Medical College is well connected by road transport from every nook and corner of the city.

Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences(SIMS) is a Muslim Minority Co-Education College helping all the students of the Minority community from Telangana and other states across India to get admission into Medicine. A Unitary Campus with attached Teaching Hospital, Teaching Staff Quarters, Separate Hostels for Boys and Girls, Non-Teaching Staff Quarters, Nursing Staff Quarters and Residents and Intern Quarters.

SIMS consists of 800 bedded hospital which is well equipped with modern facilities for diagnosis and treatment. SIMS recorded an average 500 Out-Patients and 250 In Patients per day. Patients attending this hospital are provided with free consultation, investigation and medicines. In-Patient facility including of I.C.U, I.C.C.U, N.I.C.U, P.I.C.U, Labor Room, Post Operative Care and all types of surgeries which include caesarians are provided free of cost. Accident ,Emergency and Pharmacy runs 24 hours for Departments of all broad specialties.
A Magnificent 4 storied building is available to accommodate the facilities. There are 18 Out patients Department including casualty, General Medicine, Cardiology, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, psychiatrics, Physiotherapy, radiology, Laboratory Blood Bank etc. There are 10 Operation Theatres and 2 Labor Rooms. Thus adequate accommodation is available for all specialties. There are 19 wards for Male,Female & Pediatrics patients. ADMISSION PROCEDURE
Shadan Institute of Medical Sciences(SIMS), Counselling for MBBS (NEET-UG) and Postgraduate Courses (NEET-PG) in Telangana will be conducted by Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Sciences (KNRUHS), Warangal. Under KNRUHS, the Counselling procedure is divided into Convener quota-CQ (Govt.) and Management Quota(MQ1 & MQ2). Domicile(Local) students of Telangana Qualified in NEET-UG and NEET-PG are eligible to participate in the counselling process for which a separate notification is published. For Convener Quota in Telangana, KNRUHS conducts 3 or 4 rounds of counselling followed by Mop Up round. If required, Extended Mop-Up Round Counselling will be done.
Students from all over India and Telangana are eligible to participate in the Management Quota Seats for which a separate notification is published. For Management Quota KNRUHS conducts 2 Rounds of Counselling followed by Mop Up Round. If required, an Extended Mop Up Round Counselling follows.
