Eligibility Criteria: To be eligible for the UPCNET 2024 Exam, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Age Limit:
    • Minimum age for admission is 17 years on or before 31st December 2024.
    • The maximum age limit for admission is 35 years for Unreserved (UR), OBC, EWS,SC and ST, however the maximum age for candidates with Physical Disability (PD/PwD) will be 40 years. (As per INC regulation)
  2. Nationality: Candidates from all over India, including NRIs, are eligible to apply.
  3. Medical Fitness: Candidates must be medically fit to pursue the desired nursing course.

B.Sc. Nursing Course (4 Years) Minimum qualifications for admission are as per INC Regulation: –

  1. Candidates with Science who have passed qualifying 12th Standard examination (10+2) and must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology (PCB) taken together and passed in English individually from any recognized board.
  2. In respect of candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC the marks obtained in 3 core subjects shall be 40% instead of 45% for General Category candidates.
  3. English is a compulsory subject in 10+2 for eligibility for admission in B.Sc. Nursing.
  4. Candidates are also eligible from State Open School recognized by State Government and National Institute of Open School (NIOS) recognized by central government having Science subjects and English only.
  5. Color Blind candidates are eligible provided that color corrective contact lens and spectacles are worn by such candidates.
  6. The selection of candidates will be subject to medical fitness. No selected candidate will be permitted to join the course unless declared medically fit by the Medical Board appointed by the University.
  7. Married candidates are also eligible.

5. Upon successful completion of the registration form, the candidate will receive his/her Registration Id number on their registered mobile number and email address.

6. information submitted at this stage will be auto filled in the Personal Information Section (Stage 1) of the application form

* Primary Information submitted during registration cannot be changed or altered at any later stage

Step 2: Login & Fee Payment:

  1. Once the candidate has successfully registered, they are required to login into the Application portal by clicking “Register > Login > Pay > Fill Form” button for B.Sc. Nursing
  2. To login, the candidate will be required to submit their Unique Registration Id Number and Date of Birth to successfully log into the B.Sc. Nursing CNET 2023 Applicant Dashboard. The Unique Registration ID Number and Date of Birth should match for a successful login
  3. If a candidate forgets their Registration Id number, they can click on “Forgot Registration Id Number” to receive their Unique Registration Id number on their registered mobile number via a SMS/EMAIL.
  4. Once the candidate has successfully logged into the CNET 2023 Applicant Dashboard, they will have to click on “Pay Fee for B.Sc. Nursing” button to pay the mandatory application fee
  5. On clicking the “Pay Fee for B.Sc. Nursing” button, the candidate will be redirected to an Online Payment Gateway to pay the Application Fee Online via a Debit Card / Credit Card/ Net Banking or UPI
  6. Candidates will receive a payment receipt upon a successful payment confirmation from the bank
  7. Once the payment is confirmed, the candidates will be able to see a “Fill Form” button to fill the application form

Step 3: Application Form Filling & Submission:

  1. The application is a Multi-Step form that is only available once the payment has been processed.
  2. The candidate details are saved at each stage enabling the candidate to review, update or edit the application at anytime prior to final submission
  3. The applicant will have to Click on the “Fill Form” button to start filling the form

Minimum Qualifying Marks:
The minimum qualifying criteria of entrance test to admission to B.Sc. Nursing is as under:
General – 50th percentile
General- PwD – 45th percentile
SC/ST/OBC- 40th percentile

Examination

  1. Mode of Examination: MCQs – Objective/Multiple Choice response Questions to be answered on Optical Mark Reader Sheet (OMR sheet) using black ball point pen provided at the Center.
  2. Number of Questions: 200
  3. Marks: Every single correct response will get 01 mark each. No Negative Markings for incorrect response and/or more than one response.
  4. Medium of Examination: English Syllabus: Nursing Aptitude (20%), Physics (20%), Chemistry (20%), Biology (20%), English and General Knowledge (20%) of Intermediate Standard (Class 12).

Counseling Process: Following the conclusion of the UPCNET 2024 exam and result declaration, the counseling process for UP Nursing Admission will commence. Registrations for counseling will be conducted online on the official website (@abvmuup.edu.in). Online Counselling shall be done by ABVMU, UP
