The Atal Medical & Research Himachal Pradesh University will be conducting the counseling on behalf of the Government of Himachal Pradesh (Department of Medical Education & Research) through Centralized Counselling Committee constituted by the Government of Himachal Pradesh. The medical aspirants seeking MBBS/BDS Academic Session 2020-21 admission to Himachal Pradesh will have to register themselves for the Centralized Counselling process of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU)
Shimla admission process by filling out their application form. Himachal Pradesh MBBS admission is done on the basis of marks secured in NEET-UG. Candidates who will qualify NEET Exam and meet the eligibility requirements can only register and fill the application form of Himachal Pradesh University (HPU). Himachal Pradesh University (HPU), counseling is conducted in Three rounds (Round 1, Round 2, and Subsequent MOP UP rounds). Seat selection for Government Seats and for Management quota seats will be through web counseling.
Qualification: 12th or (10+2 Equivalent) with Minimum 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology & English for UR & 40% for SC/ST/OBC.
Those who have qualified NEET 2020 by scoring the minimum qualifying percentage will be eligible for the Admission and Counseling. Candidates should have earned a minimum of 50 percentile (40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC and 45th percentile for General-PH) in order to become eligible for NEET2020 counseling rounds
AGE: A student must have completed an age of 17 years at the time of admission under NEET eligibility or should complete the age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course. The upper age limit is 25 years as of the date of examination with a relaxation of 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC-NCL category and Persons with Disability (PWD) candidates.

The Atal Medical and Research University (AMRU), Himachal Pradesh, has released the HP NEET-UG 2021 counselling merit lists for the state and management quota seats. As per the official update, this list includes the names of applicants that are shortlisted for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. The state and management quota merit lists include the names of candidates shortlisted for admission to MBBS and BDS courses. Atal Medical And Research University are administering the HP NEET counselling 2021 for 85 per cent state quota seats of government medical/dental college in Himachal Pradesh and 100% of private medical/dental college on behalf of the Department of Medical Education and Research (DMER).
